Tokyo Giant Ferris Wheel

Tokyo giant ferris wheel of 117 meter tall is less than 20 minutes by train from Tokyo station.
We always wanted to take pictures of this giant ferris wheel. Only today we had a chance to visit the Kasai Sea Side park, the house of the ferris wheel. It’s a huge park with a man-made beach facing Tokyo Bay, bird park, aquarium and of course colourful flowers. The aquarium and bird park were closed by the time we arrived at the park (at 0430pm). Park is accessible for 24hours without entrance fee.
The ferris wheel is lighted up at evening time, makes a beautiful reflection on the pond in front of it. It is said the neon colour changes hourly but we could only see white colour for over one hour. Either our eyes got a problem or the colour just don’t change. May be some other time, when we are not there, the colour changes.

Reflection on the pond in front of the ferris wheel is so nice. Our camera couldn’t capture the entire ferris wheel and its reflection.

Parks in Japan always have flowers in spring and summer. Colourful and gorgeous they are. Love it so much.
